21 pounds by itself. International usually limits carry on to 16-18 pounds. So only really good for flights that don't check the weight.

Also the price for something like this is really stupid lol

And it looks like half the capacity of a soft carry-on (20L, vs 40L max airline-legal backpack). Truly a solution looking for an question.

Considering it has a battery you would always need to check this bag so weight is not a big issue. Devices with batteries should go in the overhead compartment.

As far as I know. It's not allowed to be used as carryon. Even if you manage remove the large battery.
