This beats the lowest I've seen, which was microcenter at $179.99.

Is it basically that as long as you are running latest bios update that it won't affect the 14th gen CPU?

Wow I got a 12600k for this price just a year and a half ago? This is pretty damn slick imo.

If it's your main computer, yes indeed. Mine's a plex server, which wouldn't see much benefit, so depends on the use case.

Maybe it's just me but I tried to order two and the order was immediately canceled. I then tried to just order one and it was also canceled. I was going to upgrade my proxmox cluster, bummed will wait for the next sale.

Then you must know about the hardware defect. I wouldn't buy any 13th and 14th gen Intel cpu

Supposedly a microcode fixes it but I don't think any software fix could fix a hardware problem...

Yeah I read the same. Going to get it. Will keep the receipt and make sure to update bios right away.

It's not a hardware problem, it's a voltage delivery problem. Fixed fully by a software update. New 13th and 14th gen CPUs are fine if you upgrade BIOS. Used market for these chips should be approached with caution.
