Normally, I would absolutely be all in for The Venture Bros: Complete Series for $20. That is the best price it's been all year and you can't get those seasons on Blu-ray without going to eBay and paying crazy money for individual seasons.

However, be warned. I purchased the same Venture Bros Complete set via Fandango when it went on sale early spring for $50. I went to play episodes using the Fandango at Home app via my Apple TV. About every 15 seconds the picture froze while the audio kept playing. After hard resetting my hardware and still having the same problem reoccur (only with that particular show's streaming playback), I checked Reddit. Several other people had experienced the same problem in the exact same fashion. Same picture freeze with audio playing at the same intervals.

Some said when they picked it up via iTunes the previous year, they did not notice that problem. I'm guessing Discovery, which operates HBO, Warner, Turner content most likely recompressed the series and moved some of their shows streaming wise to really crappy offshore servers on the cheap. Or perhaps there's a flaw with the Fandango playback service. Bottom line, I found it unwatchable and had to contact Fandango support by email to request a full refund, which they gave me.

Wonder if either of you might get different results trying V bros on dango using different hardware, Roku or Fire etc. See if that makes any difference or as a workaround.

Update: Out of curiosity. I checked iTunes. Venture Bros: Complete Series is currently on sale for $29.99. Purchased it there and playback through iTunes is without issue. Note that digital TV series do not share across other platform libraries like most digital movies do. If you buy a series via Fandango it doesn't populate to iTunes and vice versa.

Absolutely amazing deal here. Picked up Venture bros and babylon 5.
This is definitely the way to purchase VB, as buying the bundle on vudu only gives you SD quality for every season. The fanflix license grants you HD for every season, although vudu only has season 1 and 2 in SD so that's the quality you'll see until there is an update with HD
