This mower didn't exist last year. You're thinking of a different version.
The one I referenced was Select Cut XP, and this one is Select Cut. It looks like the newer wave of mowers have a little more torque, though. Is the deck better on these new composites, supposedly, compared to the old, plastic decks? Or is it just marketing?

I don't see broken down values, like Home Depot. Where do you see this? It says free on the free item in cart.
For a while, deals like this have been hackable IN STORE ONLY. So YMMV if you can get in store & return the other item.
When you add to cart on website they are bundled, when you do it in the app you will see separate prices ~731 for mower , but still hack doesnt work for store pickup or online puchase.
