Sometimes mine has so much hair that it clogs the dust emptying mechanism.

I have to manually unclog it, which is pretty gross

To be fair, this has happened only two or three times

This model is great, but not really for carpet The suction is too weak

Completely false on the carpet statement. Mine works perfectly fine on carpet with a pitbull.

Yes, we have this same model (and 4 dogs). Easy to clean out though, just flip up top, pull out bin, remove hair dreadlock wad, put bin back in. Again, we have 4 dogs though so we have A LOT of hair, not sure you'd have the problem with one cat and long/short hair probably makes a difference

Saw the earlier Slickdeals post on the Roborock Q Revo (certified refurb) and decided to grab it for $344—really appreciate all the feedback shared! I looked at other models too, but this one stood out for the price and features like self-emptying, dual spinning mops, and solid LiDAR mapping. New ones go for $600+, so this felt like a great deal with a 2-year warranty included. There's been a lot of discussion around recent Roborock refurb deals, which helped me decide. Haven't received it yet, but hoping it arrives next week—will report back once I get it.

Our Q5 plus is excellent picking up from our pitty. Not sure how this model performs but we absolutely love our roborock. It does better cleaning than our shark ever did.

Bought 2 from the last refurb deal for the same price. Best purchase ever. One was a used return but they did put in new consumables. The other was brand new with all the plastic still on. I bought a floor cleaning solution that's compatible with these bots and my floors are super clean.

Purchased this awhile back. After about 8 months a dog hair or dust clogged the lidar sensor and prevented it from spinning. There is no way to repair or swap it out, but thankfully the extended protection plan from eBay was pretty smooth to use. They paid to ship it somewhere, and after a week the repair center said it couldn't be fixed. Refunded the full purchase price.

I've since gotten a new Q Revo Pro because I wanted better corner and edge cleaning. No issues so far.

This is the exact reason I personally waited and bought this model when it was on sale at Costco.

I just got this vacuum from Costco today. I have an existing Eureka Ner E10s and having the 2 duel it out. For what it's worth, vacuumed a carpet room with the Roborock 1st, looked at amount of debris it picked up, then ran the Eureka in the same room. The Eureka still picked up twice as much, which was surprising. I am doing the mopping next, which from looking at the form factor on the Roborock, I think the Eureka may fail in comparison.
