It's cute, the concept plays as they intended it to and the timing isn't punishing, but the gameplay isn't that exciting I think. I like the concept a lot in theory; you move to the beat to get bonuses. But it's a roguelite where you don't really do builds, you just learn stuff and unlock things. It's sort of slow, relaxing, the music is good enough. I don't know, it doesn't have a "wow" factor to it that I like roguelites to have, of snowballing (even early on).
They've been demoing rift a lot at conventions and it seems better constructed to me.
