I just use dollar tree super glue.. been using it for years.. kept me from needing stitches many many times.. good enough for the troops in viet nam good enough for me

Regular super glue dries hard/stiff, and is susceptible to getting caught/snagged as a result. Still pretty effective, especially for deeper cuts as long as you can pull the sides back together.

Barber shops (real ones) put razors, combs, etc. in that smelly blue stuff to sanitize them between customers... Same idea.
You can always wipe off and wash the brush before reinserting.
No need for this, the solution is meant to keep itself sterile, you will probably compromise the solution by "washing" the brush.

Dollar Tree has liquid bandage for $1.25, the difference is that super glue can be harmful to skin and tissue, and it does not prevent infection while liquid bandage is meant to be sterile, not cause harm to tissue and is antiseptic, don't cheap out on your health for crying out loud, we're not in the jungles of Vietnam in the 70's with limited resources.
