The Asus Z890 AYW is a better deal because it supports the new Intel 200S Boost Bios upgrade that allows for automatic overclocking of the Intel 200S core CPU but still covered by Intel warranty. Only the z890 chipset supports the new Intel 200s Boost bios.

Wish this board makers would move the main PCI slot further away from the CPU slot to make room for the cooler. Also why not stop putting 3 PCI slots on boards. Or in this case 4. People aren't running sound cards and every other bit of nonsense on PCI lanes anymore. Unless you got some legacy stuff you need powered. Could free up room for more m.2 spots.

Great price and board, but it's intel. Ryzen rains supreme in 2025

Couldn't disagree with you more. I do 3D design and like to play with LLMs, so I'll take as many PCIe slots as they'll give me.
