They have a 3 year warranty from date stamped on battery. They are sending me a new battery. But I went online and other people had same problem with this fan. It's such a low draw that it doesn't shut off and draws battery down to low
Can't help myself in saying this. The original one you could connect an extention cord or use the battery. The one thing I have been disappointed in Dewalt with was killing the corded/cordless tools.
Having said that I am very happy with mine.

A shame they removed the feature, but this one does blow a lot better. It's also quieter than the old one.

Be careful with this fan. I left it on one night and it killed the battery and it will not take a charge. I had a fairly new 6amp battery and now 2 cells are dead inside and they wont take a charge. The other 8 cells are fine. The low voltage cut off is not in the battery. It is built in the fan.

Does DeWalt battery have like a 1 year warranty?

Did you try the Jump start trick to revive an over-discharged Dewalt battery? All you need is another battery and a couple of pieces of speaker wire. There are online YouTube tutorials to guide you in this as well as to do more advanced DIY battery troubleshooting if you are interested in pursuing this.

Not that I needed to use, one of the two close stores had it. See the second picture.

Wow how big is this 20V works with my Solar Arrangement that I had built from scratch I call it AVSGEN but this doesn't run on 12V it's really running at 20V. Hook it to my other system with 20V would work. They're hike from my present location might take a run there I could use banana clips to connect with their battery.. Thanks for showing!

If you have Ridgid, they sell a similar one that's hybrid cord/cordless. I got it and couldn't be happier. During summer we keep it in the car or house so on road I'll take a battery and when I'm home just plugging it in. I would bet if you have many dewalt batteries this would work great for most.

I have the old one, no problems. My roommate has both, but the new one is slightly larger and quieter. I've never used the cord, I have a $25 fan for that because I don't want to cause any issues with my hybrid one using it daily. I've used it overnight with camping and if the ceiling fan wasn't cutting it, no problems. My Bluetooth speaker isn't connecting anymore, the only DeWalt tool I've had issues with.

Good fan. Can't comment how long it lasts but long enough such that if you have a decent size battery you'll be fine. Primary use is my wife using it for the beach/pool club.
