For those wondering, it seems as though the OLED screens on this series of laptop are described as:

16" diagonal, 3K (2880 x 1800), OLED, multitouch-enabled, 48-120 Hz, 0.2 ms response time, UWVA, edge-to-edge glass, micro-edge, Low Blue Light, SDR 400 nits, HDR 500 nits, 100% DCI-P3
For anyone considering an HP Omnibook, you may want to consider buying up the warranty to on-site or something like that. I bought an HP Omnibook Flip 14 in October with the standard depot warranty and it failed in January. Long story short, I just received the repaired laptop back yesterday. I.e. 120 days later! This was after multiple attempts to expedite the repair and being assigned an HP escalation case manager.
Played around with this model today at my local Costco. Really wish there was a num pad on this thing. Build quality felt great, screen really was fantastic under the bright costco indoor lights. Really liked this model.

For some reason, these laptop makers are like, "the best we can do is 63% sRGB" lol

Seems like a pretty decent machine at a good price... If I needed a laptop I'd strongly consider it. Lunar Lake processor should be snappy and extremely power efficient, still an x86 processor, and 32 GB memory.

Nuclear meltdown of a CPU. I'd skip all Intel CPUs for now including the latest Lunar Lake. They are getting sued for their last 2-3 generations of CPUs getting destroyed because they overvolt them out of the factory.Stick with AMD for now even the older 7845/7945/8845 CPUs are still better.
Isn't this their latest chip and a high tier version of it?

Killer deal - thanks for sharing. Replacing a Surface Laptop 3 and this will be a big jump. It's a massive savings vs same laptop direct from HP.

Depends on your needs, it is a premium slim ultrabook class machine but it s not the lightest possible for the screen size. Look at the LG Gram 16 for comparison if weight is the most important factor. Looks like the 2025 models are way overpriced though.

For the specs, this is a great deal but there are lighter in the class. The gram series as mentioned if you want this screen size. For travel, I'd probably go 14" personally as you get them under 3lbs easily.

Like others have said, 14" is a better size for travel. If you want lightweight and long battery life, consider the HP Omnibook Flip 14 (note my caveat on warranty stated in another post) or the Asus Zenbook S 14. Both are good options for travel.

I've never heard of any such issues with Intel lunar Lake processors and instead these seem to be well regarded for its great balance of performance and efficiency leading to long battery life. Can you post some information about this "nuclear meltdown" as it relates to Lunar Lake processors? My quick search revealed nothing, but perhaps I'm just not looking for the right thing.
