People often ask for comparisons of this to DenonX3800H,OnkyoRZ50 & IntegraDRX3.4.
To streamline questions, here is a comparison of the four.
Prices always vary from new,OB,refurb, they all have been under $1k.

I would warn folks to take that info with a grain of salt! I noticed is shows the Integra only has a 3 year warranty which is incorrect (source: https://integrahometheater.com/warranty/).

Anyone know what they mean by "High Grade Audio Components" and what warrants a check mark? LOL

I would concur, any reading regarding sound performance should be completely taken with a grain of salt! 👍🏻

Integra 3.4 for $569 seems like the better deal.

Other than the very few people that value independent subs outs and or Dirac's subwoofer correction/integration.
I would agree, this is a solid buy.

I dont personally own the Integra 3.4

But for that price it seems like quite the buy and a 5 year factory warranty to boot

Additionally, if you have one of the Magnolia Home Theater, inside Best Buy, that is closing down near they have the Denon X3800 for like $650-670 If I recall correctly

X3800 at $650 is bananas. Instant buy.

Oddly enough...based on the stores I have been in
People are choosing the Denon X4800 for $1000 or Marantz Cinema 40 at $1600 more often

I completely agree, especially if you take advantage of the pre outs!
From personal experience & imo it easily competes with the usual 11 channel AVRs, all for $650!

No luck here I would have grabbed the Cinema 50 for $1050!

For sure. At $1199 on sale, it's tough to recommend over this sale on the RZ30 or the DRX 3.4 at it's $560 sale price. But $650? Crazy value.

Yes agree most people wouldn't take advantage of the extra features of the 3800.
The RZ30 for $750 is the next best pick especially if all you need is 9 channels imo.

Idk if I agree that the RZ33 is worth paying 33% more over the Integra DRX 3.4. The extra $190 for the RZ30 gets you a little extra power and the option to buy DLBC, right? Doesn't seem worth it to me.

It also has 2 independent sub outs and is almost 4 years newer.
Having access to those for $190 imo is worth it.
People do this all the time(ie pre outs) for just in case.

33% more for independent sub outs? Eh. Not sold. If you have the budget, I guess why not. But value/$, the DRX 3.4 is really tough to beat. Personally, I'd rather save that $190 and spend it on a nice steaming box like an ATV4K or Nvidia Shield Pro.
