Found two of these on clearance at the Jantzen Beach (Portland, OR) Home Depot. YMMV

https://www.homedepot.com/p/ECHO-.../318448649

QA Note: If you don't see the OP's price, then you can try checking other stores in your area to see if they might have the 'clearance' notation on the item page. If it does, then you may be able to get it for the OP's price in that store.

Thank you but that other thread's last activity was a couple weeks ago, which makes it too old to merge newer threads into. So this thread will stay alive on its own and the mods moved the other thread to Deal Talk.

This is a greenworks 60v rebrand to echo. Kobalt Lowes in-house brand mowers are also rebranded greenworks mower and the downside on those is that they use plastic gears from the lowend to the high-end. For parts that apply torque this is no bueno and there are no replacements gears sold by the manufacturer so you pretty much have to junk the whole mower if any gears break.

I have one from previous thread and enjoy it over my worn out Honda. Will say one 5ah battery won't last for my yard front and back. Yard is under a .20 acre

Perfect. 3D print them in the event of breakage and save on costly metal gears. Probably won't ever break though.

So basically this is some company that is trying to trick you into thinking it is an Ego by making a name that is very similar sounding...

No, it's not that at all. Echo has been around much longer than Ego.

So, if you had stated "Ego is some company that is trying to trick you into thinking it is an Echo by making a name that is very similar sounding..." it would have made a touch more sense (not really, though)

Be careful Home Depot is doing a bait and switch on the Ryobi Mowers. We went to ours and saw one for $329 and the box didn't reflect the mower. We were re assured by The Manager it's a newer model upgrade in the box. Well it wasn't. Other than that I am kinda impressed with the electric mower.

So does this have plastic gears too?
