You can go wrong with Wolfbox mirror dash cam. Make sure to get the 12" and 4k front. Everything else is just gravy.

Bought this 2 weeks ago. It's ok, but does not have built in battery. So only works when car is on. If you hardwire it to constant 12v then it will shut down every time you start the car, since power is cut off there for couple seconds. I am still thinking if I should return it or keep...

I did t realize internal battery was a thing. I have the G840h and it bugs me how it turns off when I start the car. Sometimes it doesn't turn on requiring me to unplug it and plug it back in or restart the car.

Are any of these wifi dash cams able to automatically backup video when connected to my home wifi in the garage?

I emailed them about it, and they say I need to use 3 contact hard wiring kit, 1 wire goes to alway on 12v, other goes to " on when car is ON 12v" contact, and 3rd goes to ground. I will try to do that and see if it makes any difference.

sounds like wiring it for parking mode. let me know how it goes for it. i have mine wired to my accessory circuit

Accessory circuit supposed to turn dash cam on when car starts, and turn off when car is off.
I kinda wanted it to be on all the time.. ok.

you need to hardwire it to a battery connection that does not shut off when starting the car. there should be connections in the fuse box but if not then go strait to the battery with a inline fuse for the wire.
