I have this in one of my attic rooms which is roughly 400sqft. The dimmable lights are nice when watching movies and the ability to run the fan without lights is nice too.
I have the white one to be subtle and not standout against the ceiling.
edit: I have the 19" version and not this size.

After working as a product merchandiser at Lowe's for a few years, I have put together, taken down, and inspected more ceiling fans and light fixtures than I care to remember. After all of that, the biggest takeaway I got from dealing with all different variations of these devices is that I will NEVER recommend that anyone buy a ceiling fan or light fixture that you cannot change out the light source with a standard/easily sourced replacement.
These built in LEDs might function just fine for 10 years but they may also start blinking on and off in 6 months. Even name brand stuff can suffer from these design flaws. Once that happens, there is no fixing it unless you are into tinkering with electronics and/or can source the necessary materials. I enjoy that kind of stuff and even I don't want to deal with that headache being on my to-do list.
Ceiling fans, especially, are a terrible product to buy with built in LEDs. Ceiling fan light fixtures are a dual-purpose device and if the built in lights fail, you are stuck with the decision to either replace the entire unit or keep the fan but never turn on the lights (which just seems ridiculous). No matter which way you shake it, I cannot recommend these products. There are going to be plenty of people who get lucky and never have an issue but it is always going to be a gamble. If you happen to lose, you will be cursing the day you have to replace the entire ceiling fan instead of screwing in a new bulb.

No offense but the ability to run the fan without the lights being on isn't a bonus feature of this product. It's a standard as far as ceiling fan/light fixtures go.

I realized that the moment they started integrating leds into the ceiling lights. I have led lights in my house, both name brand and generic. The generics have at times lasted longer than the name brand but I know they will all go out eventually. Ceiling fans with integrated led are a no go for me. Like you said, once the led goes out, you either do not turn the light on (if still able to) or you replace the entire fan
