I have the kitchen deluxe kitchen system for the last 8 years.

The motor gave away once, at 4 year mark, and the company shark ninja replaced it for free. The blade base of the smaller single-smoothie size jars kinda broke after regular weekly use for 4-5 years, and the company charged me like $25 to get the base iirc. Now, at 8 year mark, the black blade base of the processing square-ish jar has come off the transparent housing of the jar, after making tortilla type 2-3 cups wheat flour dough in it for over 8-10 times in 2 months. It was a good run.

The largest jar is least useful and doesn't grind or blend as fine. And the blade is a weapon straight from mythological tale. The smallest jar is the workhorse. I love it. It blends smoothest, crushes through ice like it doesn't bother it at all and does even small quantity of dry spices well. Even if I have a large quantity of soup to be liquefied, I rather run multiple batches in the smaller one than to take out the large one. The only negative is that the machine is super loud.

I'd buy this only for the motor base, IF I have the other attachments and the original motor stopped working.

I hope it helps.

This is so cheap compared to Vitamix and Blendtec. Has to be some catch..

Got this at Christmas and have used it to make quite a few smoothies and shakes, honestly only thing is I hate to have to press the power button then the button for the program I want, but that's a very small gripe. Made me wish I got the one with the food processor attachment though

That 72oz pitcher is too large for a single serve smoothie though. Are there smaller pitchers that fit the base? Could not find anything on Amazon.

Costco has a 2 pack of ninja personal size blenders that are battery operated. I don't recall the name but they're really good

Good find and price.
On the other hands, I read few recent published medical books with recent findings, they all mentioned, though from fresh fruit, the smoothie form makes your body able digest it quickly, spikes blood sugar (from fructose) in short time to a much higher level, not good for the body.

Better eat fresh fruit directly and let the body break down fiber to slow down the digestion speed to reduce the blood sugar spike level.

I'm not a medical expert, just passing what I read.

I understand but that's NOT WHY people buy it.
