5-6 years ago I went all in on Lavazza Blue machines when they put the small ones on promo for $49 and a restaurant/office size one for $399. I bought 3. They served me well, and my wife and I loved being able to switch between regular and decaf between cups. However, the Blue and Expert capsules are just too expensive now.

I switched to a DeLonghi Magnifica Evo for like $325 on sale and I can get a kilo of Lavazza espresso beans at Costco Business for $15. It's not top tier but it's good enough considering the cost and ease of use.

A fellow Slickdealer had a blog with some useful info but it hasn't been updated in a while.

Yeah, that's me. Unfortunately, I got myself locked out of my own blog. I'm not sure how it happened, but I can't update it anymore. WordPress is weird, I couldn't figure out how to retrieve/reset my password. I tried every method they offer to reset, but for free accounts they make it difficult. Nothing I tried worked. I guess there's a method of merging blogs but it's not free. I'm not paying them to get my site back.
