I didn't think I would love this driver as much as I do. It's my go to around the house, rarely ever pull out the 18v.

Looks like they finally ended the M12 and M18 Buy More Save More promos, too. Probably the last decent sales we'll be seeing for the foreseeable future. I'm already seeing price increases of 5 to 20 percent on Milwaukee power and hand tools, most likely due to the tariffs. The best deals going forward are likely going to be random deals of the day, but even those are seeing modest price increases, too.

Can I return the ratchet? Usually it would show the extra tool as a seperate price, it shows it altogether.

If you're on mobile browser, after clicking OP link below the "Add to cart" button is "View full product details" button. Click on that and you'll see the option to add the "free" 3/8 ratchet.

I'm seeing the same thing on both Milwaukee and DeWalt tools and outdoor equipment. Last week I bought a Flexvolt Blower kit, which also included a free flexvolt battery for $299. The price for that same kit is now $329, and the free battery promo is no longer active. That's just one example, but I seen a plethora of price increases when I visited my local Home Depot this morning.

Brace yourself people, the tariffs are here! And we're going to see more and more of these price increases. I expect the previous retail prices to be the new sales prices going forward. The only question is for how long? But from previous examples, once prices start increasing, they rarely ever go back down to what they were prior to the increases.

Good deal for the installation driver. Good deal for those that missed the $170 for the driver plus the ratchet a few weeks ago

Yeah I was disappointed to miss that one, but this is arguably a better deal if you didn't want the ratchet, as I don't think you could part that out via return.

I wish you were wrong, but afraid you'll be proven right. I'm considering increased positions in various retailers with the assumption they will benefit long-term from elevated prices even after tariffs subside making for even higher profits propping up stock prices.

It's all a racket! They keep mentioning "short term pain" for the consumers. But in reality, the short term pain will only be felt by big business, as they will see their profits increase substantially after the tariffs subside. And consumers will be feeling the "long term pain" from it all.

No that dewalt deal did not increase in price I was eyeing it the entire time it was active. There were 3 level to it: blower for 300, string trimmer for 330, and I think the chainsaw was 350

YES, those kits have increased in retail price! The blower kit was $299 MSRP, it is now $329. The trimmer kit was $329 MSRP, it is now $369. Yes, the promo of the free battery is no longer valid, but the price of the kit has indeed increased!

If you're new to this type of drill/driver and not invested in M12 platform. I suggest Bosch and Skil. Bosch is just as strong but better built and all their attachment has bit lock. This Milwaukee does not. Ergonomic wise, Skil is better and much better pricing. The D handle shape of this is a copied from Festool and could be a hindrance for small places like inside a drawer.
