I personally didn't run into any issues with the drive, I did have issues with my laptop not having proper drivers for the intel chipset and it wouldn't allow windows to install to ANY drive unless I disabled vmd in the bios.
Later I installed the intel rst drivers, rebooted and enabled vmd in the bios with no issues.
