For what it's worth, I have a couple of MagSafe chargers from this company, and a few different cars, and I've been very pleased with the quality of the magnet hold. I grant that I don't have much variety to compare to…I got a new phone that you used MagSafe one of these was on sale so I bought it and liked it, then bought for family members who also needed them. I especially like the hook mechanism they use for vents. (Which might be standard across-the-board for all I know but they're very secure and easy to use).

This is just a mount, no charging. I would rather get one with charging. Generally you get one for under $10 when on sale.
