Got the same surcharge in my area. I think I'm ok with 1gb Spectrum for $60 a month.

Unless you live in your vehicle or some remote no where area and can afford this but damn $500 1 time plus $120 a month is alot for people that occasionally go camping on the weekends

Great Deal!!! I have been trying to get this since Starlink first came out and finally can. I found it through an email from them and not SlickDeals. I am super happy I can finally get internet like the majority of you big city folks since I live in the middle of nowhere! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

You should not be able to downvote something just because you think you are superior and live in a big city!

What? How is a "random Ruuski" going to get access to my activity on Starlink?

We are still doing this garbage?

Anyway, I'm still pissed that they ended the $150 deal early. Was supposed to end 4/30 and it ended a week early. That was a better deal for anyone that doesn't want a year of service, as it required no contract.

I got in on that deal. $160 shipped. Full service is $90/month here ($80 residential Lite also available). And I have Farm Burea, which offered 2 months free. But when I signed up, I got 5 months of credits for some reason....

I rechecked my address with this $0 equipment and it had the monthly service at $120 instead. Don't know if it's because the service is already active here, didn't check another address.

Working great. T-Mobile was cheaper, 1/4 the speed, 4x the pings, tower more than 10 miles away ($400 antenna plus $450 for the cell modem at the time, not using theirs). I'm supposed to get 100Mbps fiber this summer, at $100/month. Debating on that since Starlink is cheaper and faster. But if I don't install fiber it will never be here (15 miles from the closest town of 200, households averaging miles apart). Just switched for testing.... Figured temporary until fiber and with the discounts it works out "cheap".
