Is single axis tracking good enough, or is it worth the extra money for duel axis?

It is good enough if you don't mind adjusting the angle once a month for better optimization

Are these for whole home grid connected system?
I am wondering if two or three of these should be enough as I am looking around 8 to 10 kw system. Looking to offset around 100-150$ per month bill.
Has anyone done this? Buy 2-3 of this and an inverter and hire electrician to connect? I can probably save money setting up the mount myself.
I don't want to spend 10k after rebate for probably same size of system that is mounted on the roof.
Thanks for advice.

2-3 of these is not enough. You would need more like 20-30 which doesn't make sense.

For a system that large you'll need a lot more panels.

Here's a 10kw system with 10kwh storage from the same company (using the same panels, I think) for $8,999. You could probably get, at least, the panels for less if you bought higher wattage panels elsewhere. For example, Signature solar has a pallet of 410kw bifacial panels which would make a 12kw system for $3200. You would just have to source the rest of the stuff to put it together.

I wish I knew how to do this or who in my area would be remotely willing and qualified to work on eBay purchased solar panels and batteries. The spark's around here don't seem to want to touch it and the solar people here are all pushing their own stuff and requiring leasing your roof . Ahh the Wild West of Florida.

These are DIY systems. Invest some time in learning how to set these simple systems up. Doesn't require an electrician. There is no financial justification for that.

May not be the case...one should consult with their local building permit office for specific code and installation requirements.
