MDF and plastic handles. Not worth what they were claiming was MSRP. Still not worth $50

These will last a year or two. Thin particle board. Once they break (from what I've read they always do) their trash.

There was another posted yesterday with lots of comments confirming this too

The main con IMO is that you can't fit any taller shoes, or shoes over size 9 mens. As far as durability it's neither more or less durable than any typical cheap MDF furniture. i have the taller version with a third row.

Do you have a link to the one with the 3rd row? Thanks

Odd how they have a picture that eaisly looks like it would clip the heels each time it's opened or closed. The shoes will rest all their weight on the tips. That would deform at least one of my shoes (an odd soft pliable type) instantly. Yet alone others over time. If you toss it in there rather than hiring white glove maids with experience handling babies to place your shoes in carefully; I bet most everythings tip gets damaged eventually. The dirt goes where when small bits fall off the bottom? Where it rests on the tip? On the shoes below it?

Tbh makes me think if you are going this far with shoe storage ; might as well get a dresser

We just use ours for casual stuff, sneakers, Skechers, and Crocs. No issues with deformity. Cleats and stuff caked in dirt stay out. It's not perfect, but that's how we use it.

People are way overthinking this. It's a $50 particleboard shoe storage box. Don't put your Christian Louboutins or Red Wing Iron Rangers in it. Throw your sneakers or your $20 sandals in it, who cares. It doesn't need to survive a 10mph collision with a Geo Metro. I have an Ikea version, BRUSALI, and it's great. Best $100 ever spent. Stuff that would deform or doesn't fit gets stored elsewhere.
