WARNING: Amex Gift Cards are a total scam. They do not work at most places, and will NOR work at most online merchants. I learned this the hard way. Took weeks of calls and back and forth with their terrible service to finally get a refund via a check.
Amex Gift cards are run by a shady 3rd party company, and not by Amex itself. You do NOT want to go through what I went through. Never again!
