We've had a Samsung gas dryer for 7-8 years and it's still going strong. The washer, not so much.

Have blbespoke washer and electric dryer for 3 years and no issues whatsoever.. regardless of what brand you have, hope y'all cleaning the washer trap every few months, and I always leave my washer door ajar when not in use so it dries. Fwiw

Samsung electric dryer running for 8 yrs now. It stopped heating today so bought the parts for $25 on Amazon. I'll hopefully fix it tomorrow. It looks like an easy fix, just need to replace the heating element and the safety components.
Next to it is my Frigidaire washer going strong for 18 yrs now. I replaced the drain pump recently, easy fix. Wear gloves, lots of sharp metal inside.
