Throwing in a response as well since the other two match what I saw before I ordered mine...distinctly NOT new. These may be nitpicks, but just putting it in for awareness of the potential.

Got mine a few weeks ago. Been paying cleaners a hefty amount per month to keep up with cleaning with my two kids since my wife went back to work. This thing vacuums and mops way better than the cleaners ever did and its fully automated, I barely have to do anything. Super, super impressed for what I paid. Yes, I still have to clean bathrooms, but thats like 1-2 hours work, vs the all day task of vacuuming and mopping. Not to mention, this thing vacuums multiple times a week and mops once a week for me. The cleaners were doing it once every other week. Only gets stuck in one place (our shag carpet falls off right before our entertainment unit, so it gets stuck between the two). I just set it as a no-go zone and its good to go.

If I need to replace a battery. Can I do it myself and are the batteries proprietary, or can I buy a third party battery?

Ordered one from previous deal and it was brand new, as far as I can tell. Really pleased with it's performance so far.

I bought a refurbished months ago for $229. It was brand new. No signs of use anywhere.
The automatic dust/dirt bin emptying gets clogged all the time. Then your left with a vacuum that isn't vacuuming up anything due to the unit being full. Requires checking up on the unit regularly.
The mopping made our floors really slippery. Not sure if that's due to them being really clean or cleaner residue. Engineered wood flooring.
Also the battery life is lacking. Not sure if it's our unit in particular but it needs to charge 2-3 times to do what our older vacuum did in one go. Could also be it's mapping is poor and it's cleaning areas more then once.

You got one with multiple defects. Should have returned it.

How does this compare with an Ecovacs T20 Omni? I have so many issues with the mopping on the T20, it can't seem to get through a full cleaning cycle without some sort of stoppage.

How do you deal with kids toys and crap in the way. Our kids leave stuff out sometimes and it just chaotic. I feel like it would get stuck.

We pick them up on days it cleans, the same as I would for the cleaners. We have a 2-story though, so most of the mess is upstairs, while the vacuum is downstairs. It does seem to do really good with obstacles, though. I had boxes on the ground last night that I forgot to pick up and it went around them just fine.

Although I bought my L20 ultra refurbished from eBay, this might help few people. I've been using my cleaner for over a year with no issue. It also came with 2year all state warranty not sure if it's included with this one. At the time of purchase I had bought my qrevo from Costco a week earlier and decided to compare them myself instead of relying on YouTube reviews. They both did very well and everything about it was almost identical. The camera feature on L20 was nice at first then it became useless. I rarely check on it. They both cleaned well enough to my satisfaction. Sure few specs of trash were missed but I don't really care for those. Plus I got my toddler for those missed trashes. I am sure the tech and comparison can carry over to L10 and qrevo alternative. My only deciding factor between the two brands are the voice language selection. The L20 came with Japanese option so I can finally have my dreame waifu. She sucks and never complains.
If you can afford the extra money, go for the L20. I paid $800 at the time when it was discounted but last time I checked (few weeks ago)new one was around 500 on Amazon.

edit. it's $382 after coupon.

Was $200 a few days ago, missed out on that. I'll wait for another drop in price, hopefully.

Wow $200? Link? I will wait also. My Roborock S6 Max V is dying. A genuine battery from Aliexpress is $70. Debating if I should just a cheap refurb vs buying a new battery.
