Not everyone has use for that much at the same time, this is why different sized cans exist.

Since this is SD and the point is to be frugal: Almost everyone who cooks probably has storage containers too and a fridge... you can save the rest of the larger bulk can that you didn't use.

I get your point but that would be incorrect as the main mantra here is for deals, not frugality, otherwise there wouldn't be deals here for let's say, $1,200 items at $900, a frugal person won't be buying anything of the sort as being frugal means having a mindset of minimizing unnecessary spending.

I think you have a different idea of what "frugal" means than me. Google "frugal definition" and it mentions nothing about "unnecessary spending". But arguing the meaning and definition of words is a useless endeavor. I think it's clear what I meant by "frugal" and I didn't mean only buy the absolute essentials. I've never heard of frugal being defined that way.

So I buy these little cans all the time, especially from Aldi.. The pricing is similar to what you can get at Aldi, but I purchased these a little while back and these taste fantastic. Even though it's pretty much the same ingredients you'd get anywhere else. This has a distinctly non-metallic taste to it. With other canned tomato sauce there is a bit of a metallic taste, but not with these.. At least in my experience.. I actually drink these straight from the can sometimes.

Thanks, these are perfect to add a can to pre-made spaghetti sauce to get slightly more volume up for hungry kids without diluting the sauce too much. I bought 8 and with discount came out to 43 cents a can. Before pandemic these were around 50 cents/ can and post pandemic they have been closer to a dollar a can at my local grocery store which is ridiculous since these are small cans.
