I've owned many Anker chargers in the past and this is the only charger I have ever had problems with (when paired with an Anker dock none-the-less). Buyer beware.

I have seven of these throughout my house and none of them have caused me any issues. I actually think they're the best usb chargers and the best extension strips I've ever used.

Are you able to get 100w in a single top port?

Roughly. 90+ watts for sure from a single port. The power gauges on my usb cables never read exactly 100 but it's generally just below when the receiving product will accept it.
