I do intend to activate the plans that came with each and essentially daisy chain em to get two years of service out of them
It's doable and easy. Instructions in the QVC thread
Either way, spectrum doesn't care whether I do that or not and will take any prepaid phone in my experience
Should I do it? or wait for the 2 QVC Motorola's to arrive and trade one of those in instead?
I have an iPhone 5. Will that work?
Just put in random IMEI if you don't have phone on hand if you want to check in trade in values
I've no idea why it says that actually

You'll have to pay the full price up front, mail in device and wait for it to process, hopefully successfully, and get refund down the line
Bigger possible problem is that with slight tweak in their fine print now, they may withhold credit all at once to account and instead dole it out over 36 months
Doing it in person with credit immediately applied should preclude all the above problems basically

also just being a spectrum internet customer will suffice? No need to be a spectrum mobile or become a mobile customer?

NYC res here. My area doesn't have spectrum internet when I try to sign up but it directs me to optimum which I already have. Can I still do this deal?
After reading all the thread, I'm leaning towards doing a in-store tradein once optimum internet isn't an issue(fingers crossed cs rep doesn't fk up🍀)
