Would a 24v chainsaw be worth having? I have several Greenworks tools. From leaf blowers to to snowthrowers and like them. They are 40v though. I have a 40v chainsaw and it is adequate for all I need it to do. I wonder about this one though.

While 10 inches might get you admiration in some cases, in a chainsaw it will not.

I got the green works pressure washer spring for dirt cheap. Going to try this with the extra battery from the washer. Worse case will return since it's Walmart.

While I generally agree, this is basically a pruning tool which will be used 5 seconds at a time. I'd still like a larger battery, but I think the weight trade off might be a win in this case (with a second battery.)

Same here. I am wondering if this is feasible to use one handed on a ladder. Cheap enough to drop to the ground if things go sideways.

Got this recently (not on slickdeal). It's decent for shrubs, bushes, small tree branches. Wouldn't go doing any major jobs with it, but good for cleaning up & maintaining some yard work. Oddly enough, the 2ah battery it came with has been enough for my purposes (primarily large rose bushes & tree branches). Didn't come with chain oil, but you can get that anywhere for cheap.

I have this saw and it is very handy for small trees and bushes and can be handled with one hand. The 2 Ah battery generally lasts as long as I need it but I have several Greenworks 24 Volt tools so I have plenty of batteries. Overall their yard tools work well and I am very satisfied with them.

this saw is pretty handy. i trim up around my driveway at the hunting camp and then a friend trim some bushes and it still hold a charge. Only thing I don't like is the oil reservoir hard to see the amount in it.

I see no point in having a two handed 10" 24v saw. You might as well get the 6" 1 handed pruning saw, or the 16" 48v normal saw.

Would this be only slightly better than an electric pruning saw for bigger branches or the same?

Can I fit 20V 4AH battery in this tool? I have 4 of them from Lawn Mower.
I think it would have to be a 24v to match this one
