Buying razors and memory cards from Amazon is risky. Good luck to all.
Just a heads up. Target has this at the same price with the same $10 off coupon and you can get the same 5% off using Red card. If you can find filler to reach $40 before coupons, I used a Colgate toothbrush for $3.49 with a $2 off coupon making it $1.49, you get a $10 gift card at Target as well.

If I wait to have 4-5 days my face is so beat up and the razor is junk after just one shave. Did an experiment, Went to the dollar store and bought introductory pack and shaved one side of my face with these and the other with one ones I bought at the dollar store and it was no comparison, the dollar store blades had superior quality, these are not Gillette OEM blades

Wow, I pay 10 cents per blade and use a
Merkur Classic 1904 / 1906 Safety Razor, Open Tooth Comb.

This is a mild razor. Anyone should be able to use it.

You can get a very aggressive safety razor, aka blade is more exposed and less forgiving, it will bite you. Be careful and read the descriptions of what you are buying.

I buy 100 or 200 blades in bulk.

I get them from overseas.

Used to get them from Ukraine, they were outside of the European Union and, therefore, out of the artificial high shipping to the US.

Almost all razor blades are made in Russia, even what people think of as big American companies. Just their headquarters are here; they moved offshore to Russia decades ago for cheap labor. They all come out of a small handful of manufacturing.

Interestingly, you can get the same blade brand at the dollar store 5 for $5.00. Tells you the markup.

Yes, a double single blade, you shave once, look at places you miss, lather up, shave again the whole face, recalling, paying attention to where you miss spots, then once more, shaving quicker to make sure every place gets shaved twice.

The 2 and 3rd shaves go very quickly as they are really touching up, the whole face.

I can get done just as fast as those 5 blade $$$ monsters, where one blade scrapes off the shaving soap in front of the other 4 blades to drag through.

Get a German safety razor, and Google how to use it.
Also, a horse shaving brush and shaving soap.

They aren't that hard to use.

I am particularly fond of shaving soap sticks. You can either lather str8 to face with the stick or rub it on the wet brush.

Wow, people really spend this kind of money shaving?
What is that per year?

I have been using a safety razor since the late '60s...
I need to calculate the money saved.

Oh, a horse hair shaving brush will stink to high heaven, like a wet horse, for about a month.

All part of the experience.

Still have about 50 refills leftover from the big discounts during covid when people stopped shaving.

"Double edged safety razor" is what the kids want to Google.

Get a variety pack of blades to find what you like. Then get them by the 100pack.
Merkur long handled. Boars hair brush. Taylor of old bond street. Astra platinum. Cheap and easy.

Everyone saying they got counterfeit blades most likely bought from a 3rd party seller (maybe without even knowing it). There are from the Gillette store on Amazon and no way they are counterfeit.

These are "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" and, as we know, Amazon has a tendency to co-mingle vendor stock at its warehouses so it would not surprise me if someone ended up with some fakes.

Edit: Never mind - I was talking about Mach 3.

There are things I don't even attempt to buy on Amazon anymore like this and toothbrush heads because I've gotten fakes that Amazon has commingled with it's inventory. I don't get why Amazon doesn't see that this kills it's business. Maybe they are banking on the fact that people don't notice and they make more money selling fake products then not.

You don't understand how Amazon works, they mix all the same products from different sellers together so even if you buy from Amazon you could get a fake product that was sent to Amazon by a third party seller. A quick Google search you can find articles that explain it more thoroughly: https://www.esqgo.com/blog/unders...le-organic
