After 10 years (unopened) it tasted about on par with any fresh ground coffee. (I used it to pull espresso to make an americano.)
I will buy again for backup.
This deal is for ground coffee for $3.25/lb so you should compare it to other options for that price. If there's a deal for good whole beans for that price please let me know and I'll gladly buy those instead.
I've bought the 2.2lb whole beans bag in the past but I don't think for less than $11ish which comes out to $5/lb. Looking through my order history the cheapest whole beans I got this year from Amazon was Lavazza Espresso Barista Gran Crema for $7.08 ($3.22/lb) but that's a medium roast so a different product.
