The previous post on this was about 6 weeks ago, and is marked as expired.

I mentioned Lowe's already in the OP, as YMMV -- but I stand corrected regarding online ordering, it does look like you can get free delivery from Lowe's. Will update that with your link.

I could've sworn there was a Black Friday post about it. I bought it, thought it was from a post.

What are the dopeliestness bags on the market like this? Is there a couple of universally recognized top dogs? Or is there anything considered just in a large of its own etc?

Most people swear by the milwaukee packout stuff until you get into really specialty trade type stuff.

I've been using the craftsman stuff for a few years now. A LOT cheaper if you grab it on sale. Like anything else, some stuff is garbage when you get into smaller totes and whatever, but some stuff is good. I have this particular bag.

Would it hold up if i was a carpenter as my full time job? No way. But its just fine for a homeowner doing renovations type stuff.

I'd rather have lots of OK storage that is well organized and works well together, than a missmash of stuff and other things not in storage because i can't drop a 100 bucks on a tote every time i have something new to put away.

Thanks for your input. What WOULD hold up if you were a carpenter full time? Something all leather maybe or? Any examples? Thanks sir!

Are you a telecom guy? Or electric? Or radio? Can't think of many other areas besides maybe some computer networking fields where line noise is an issue

I got this two years ago and I like it. Maybe the only gripe being the handle, while sturdy, can get in the way if i want to put bigger tools. But because it's a hard bag, i like that it's structurally solid and I can fit a variety of hand tools for mostly auto/plumbing/electrical needs. Also the VersaStack goes with Dewalt's TStak, but I ended up buying the ToughSystem 2.0 and if I get an adapter I can stack this on.

I have the dewalt tstak version of this stuff. So it's yellow instead of red. It Is well worth the money. Sure I would have liked packouts but I built a 10 drawer setup for the same price as 2 milwaukee boxes. I don't wanna spend mikwaukee money. I work industrial machine shop and power plants oil refineries and every piece has held up great, dirty looking but thats to b expected. The wheels on the dolly are my only complaint, but I swapped those out. For my usage the metal chips that we get from turning o cutting a part jammed up the wheels, but that won't be the case for most people
. Worked as a carpenter, framing doors and trim, in my late teens thru 20s and I can't see how a carpenter would destroy this some people are more rough on stuff.

Expired now. Needed a bag for work. It's now $69.98 in Chicago. When I need things, it's expensive...
