This one rated pretty well on Project Farm's tests. Ranking 7th overall. With most ranking higher being much more expensive.

Good deal, but keep in mind these plastic digital pressure gauge is pretty much disposable. They won't last more than 2-3 years. Stick with mechanical tire pressure gauges. They last forever and never need battery.

I bought a plastic Craftsman one back to 2002 and it still holds strong.

DO NOT BUY!

a tiny plastic hose, links the nozzle to the pressure sensor.
the plastic degraded within a year.

the sensor cannot read anything,
if the pressurize air leaks out before reaching the sensor.

the gauge was stored indoor with AC.
it was not cooking in the trunk of a car during the summer heat.

when you need it the most, it taunts you with its LED lights.
you will try harder.
you will try deeper.
you will question your competency.
and finally,
you will lose your sanity.

At $5 it's cheaper to buy a new one than try to replace the batteries inside when it inevitably goes bad. This product is the opposite of BIFL though.

I have several of these that I keep in my vehicles. I live in SoCal so the temps in the vehicles get in the mid-high 100s during the summer months. Not a single one has failed in the many years I have had them. They've only required battery replacements. One is in constant use in my 4x4 when I go trail riding and need to deflate/inflate my tires. All read within 0.5 psi of each other and my air compressor with digital gauge.

Is this the typical cheap Tire pressure gauge on Amazon? I bought a different one that worked fine the first time I used it. 2nd time i needed to use it, it wouldn't even power on! This one says it has a replaceable battery unlike the one i got last time, so at least that is something. But do all these just stop working randomly? I'll give it a try, but with these things it seems the smart thing to do is get one when you need it and return it afterwards, and just keep doing that whenever you need it, otherwise you may be stuck with junk that works once and that's it.

I have the one that is a digital one from craftsman from over 15+ years ago. It reads the pressure accurately and has lasted all these years. Changed the button cells a couple of times during that period but absolutely worth the $8 I paid for it on sale.
