Hm can you still do that? We have to scan our card at the entrance now while someone stands near and confirms the picture on the screen matches us lol..

The entrance is usually a zoo/line for people trying to tap their cards on the reader as if it's NFC… I just walk in on the outside edge, have my mobile membership ready to go if challenged.
I imagine a GC holder could do the same. Not sure what the process is now with the barcode scanner.
It's not like you can go to Customer Service, and then cut into the shopping area. The layouts of Costcos need to be improved imo. Especially when you get the log jam of Food Court lines, receipt check lines, and returns lines all into one.
