Better option might be to add a 2.5" SSD/HD since the 3520 provides the space, cable and carrier.

This is so easy to do using Macrium or Aomei Backupper!
To all of that, what is your current computer and have you thought about reading a book rather than spending more money and making your existing computer functional instead?
I will apologize in advance for this reply, but: lighten up, Francis!
The guy asked a legitimate question and admitted to not knowing much about Win 11 S mode. What makes you think that he would feel comfortable taking your advice and dumping Win 11 and installing Win 10?
Several others have noted how to get out of S mode, and yes, it is easy. I would advise the guy to do a quick search, go to the MS site and follow the instructions.
they do not give you another rewards, it just goes back to your points balance, which you can then request the reward certificate again

Just pry off the hinge covers, and slightly loosen the over-torqued hinge nuts. I've had my Dell Inspiron for 2 years now, and no issue with the hinges with this fix.

i actually prefer non-touch screen. but must have usb-C for dual monitor setup using a usb-hub for easy on-off
Yes usbc. More people buy. Stock moves. No Price drop.

do you basically do what he did in the video? Looks like there's a tool you need to buy to unscrew the stuff he did on the hinges and.. even more frightening from my point of view
I've gone into laptops before and removed wifi cards to install a hard drive and disconnected speaker ports but have never removed a laptop from the screen part with the intention of putting it back in later on - it kind of scares me

There is no need to take apart the laptop.
Pry off the hinge covers using a small flat-blade screwdriver. Use needle-nose pliers to slightly loosen the hinge nuts, no nut drivers needed. Then, pop back on the hinge covers. Easy-Peasy.
