Lenovo spec sheet says "fingerprint reader: none" for this model. The model number listed by Best Buy under the title on bb's website is 82QD00DHUS, and when I do a quick duckduckgo on "lenovo spec" one of the top results is "Product Specifications Reference", and it is a Lenovo website for looking up really detailed spec lists that you don't really get even from Lenovo's product listings.
Anyway, the psref for this laptop model is https://psref.lenovo.co
Now, this is all going off the spec sheet, someone who has handled it in person would definitely know better, and you could just try and return if it doesn't.
Edit 2: In the bb website questions section, a search on "fingerprint" turned this up:
Q: QuestionDoes it have fingerprint reader? And lock?

Pros:
- Cheap, under $300 with tax.
- Upgradeable RAM (1 SODIMM empty, 8GB soldered)
- Decent entry level CPU. Good for basic tasks.
- 10 point multi touch touchscreen.
- Decent selection of Ports, HDMI(1.4), USB-C 3.2 (DP), 2USB-A
Cons:- Lackluster screen with 300-nits, 45% NTSC.
- No 3D graphics performance to speak of.
- Windows S mode. Can be changed to Windows 11.
- Keyboard not back lit.
- SSD is only 256GB.
- No USB-C Charging.
- Battery life is around 6 hours.
At this price you get a Windows 11 (S mode) laptop for around the price of a chromebook. Be sure you can live with the limitations of windows 11 S mode or are comfortable changing to full windows 11 mode yourself (It's not too hard).Unless you really need Windows 11 for something like old games or a specific piece of software, you might consider if a chromebook meets your needs at this price point. Maintaining a chromebook and avoiding viruses/malware is easier IMO than maintaining a windows machine in case that is a priority for you.
