They also removed the blood oxygen feature from Series 9 after they were sued for violating the patent. That feature is a lot more useful to me than any of the minor little tweaks they made for Series 10.

The blood oxygen sensor has been deactivated on Series 9 devices purchased after Jan 18, 2024. So not really relevant for somebody comparing the devices for a future purchase, as neither option will have it.

More so a failed launch of both watch and iPhone. They are losing money on both launches as no one sees these as worth the upgrade. The 15 pro is better than the 16 with its meh 60 hz screen. Whenever apple AI gets released it will work on 15 pro. The apple watch 9 with the oxygen sensor is better than the 10 with its speaker. Not upgrading this time.

Isn't it deactivated? Yes it has the sensor but you can't use it sooooooo

I bought my Series 9 open-box from Best Buy for $280 in January, and I traded it in to Best Buy for a $330 gift card two weeks ago. I'm waiting to get the Series 10 for the same price, so I'll get a free upgrade 🙏.
