Nothing about this is healthy. Don't poison your kids.
Indeed, it's terrible. Even worse is them trying to hide the fact it contains poison!

I agree that the stevia is most likely in the "no sugar added" variety, as shown in the reviews (regarding which one they bought, the ones mentioning stevia, they all say they bought the Flavor Name: Variety Pack (No Sugar Added) [amazon.com]), not this 100% fruit one.

I looked on Dole's page and the 100% juice does not say anything about stevia.

often sellers use the same asin when they run out of a product/want to change products and want to use the same asin for a different one. I'm pretty sure that's what happened here.

"asin?" It actually sounds like it's short for another word. laugh out loud (no, not calling you or anyone that)
I've never seen asin before, ever, and neither have the majority.

So best case scenario, Dole made a mistake in their own product description or made it more complicated than it should be on Amazon, with improper use of the word "stevia" appearing on the page at all.

If Dole does that, imagine what other "mistakes" they are making. No wonder they've been sued multiple times.

"^^In water sweetened with Stevia Extract †Not a low-calorie food. " , "^In 100% fruit juice with added Vitamin C and natural flavors"

Now, if that's supposed to mean that we have to differentiate between those two little markers and figure out which is which, no... that's absurd and a waste of effort.

"Stevia" should not be on the product page at all!

It fails the CTRL+F (type "stevia" or other offenders) test.

asin is just the first set of numbers/letters after the amazon.com/dp or /product in the link. It stands for "Amazon Standard Identification Number" (I had to google it, lol).

I've never spent more time on an amazon page for something I did not intend to buy than I have with this laugh out loud but here's what I think.

The "no sugar added" option is available in the drop down link on the product page as an option to buy.

On the product description part, where it mentions stevia, I think they just worded it confusingly and were referring to both products.

"^In 100% fruit juice with added Vitamin C and natural flavors ^^In water sweetened with Stevia Extract †Not a low-calorie food. See nutrition fact panel."

The " ^ in 100% fruit juice with vitamin C and natural flavors" is for the above posted item.

The " ^^ In water sweetened with stevia extract" is for one of the other available buying options on the page, probably the "no sugar added" once, since the reviews stating theirs has stevia was that for that option.

If it's sweetened with grape juice it's not using Stevia as there would be no need. It's already the highest sugar juice readily available.

Can you elaborate?

Beyond the warning about maybe containing bits of pits, the ingredients seem to be fruit and fruit products…
Yes. The pits are the least of your concern.

1. This is a 4 oz cup of fruit which is so tiny yet each cup has 16g of sugar - meaning each little cup is the equivalent to nearly 1/3 to 1/2 of a can of soda

2. On top of the insulting amount of sugar for such a small portion, Dole decided it would be a good idea to add STEVIA which tastes like poison and affects people's guts WAY more than other artificial sweeteners on top of having the nastiest taste and aftertaste of any sweetener, natural or artificial

3. The whole product is fruit yet there is no percentage on the nutritional label for how much juice is in each cup etc. On sodas/juice right on the bottle it tells you the percentage - why the lack of transparency here?

I think if you bought the most expensive fruits in your area and made these cups it would come out cheaper and 100x more healthy - this is a bougie fruit snack but unlike other "fruit" snacks this one is not very nutritious.

Buying real fruit is the move right here
