Just to be clear...If you change your mind about one component of the bundle, you can return it for the prorated price. In other words, this is an Honorable And Completely Kosher deal.

Haha the new wording - PRORATE - to avoid the continued arguments in other deals.

Seems a good price if you need the oscillating tool.

All Ryobi 18 volts batteries are compatible with each other. The batteries that says HP are usually expensive and you will get better performance when used with brushless tools.

Do you cancel the tool or you need to return it in person?

If you decide you don't like the oscillating tool, you can return it for $47.51.

YMMV, but, unlike a BOGO deal, they do allow you to ship to home one part and store pickup the other. So worst case scenario, you could buy the oscillating tool for store pickup and call to cancel.

Thanks. Should I call online customer service to cancel the battery, or the store? (Battery is pickup, tool is delivery). I want to keep the tool.

Yes. Usually after two weeks, but it does depend on the store. I have an item at my local store that I haven't picked up in almost a month and they still haven't canceled. You can always call the store and they will cancel and refund, no questions asked.

I tried to cancel the tool via support chat but they wouldn't. They insisted that bundles can't have individual items canceled or returned. I don't think that's actually the case because they're separate on the receipt, but I'm going to try canceling again later.

EDIT: they cancelled it when I asked again. The initial support rep was mistaken.
