I'm extremely surprised that these are marketed as microwaveable now as I know for a fact that they did their best to avoid using the term microwaveable in the past 2 decades at least. No, I wouldn't microwave at all because the cup is styrofoam.

Pour hot water into the "microwavable" cup and you are golden. Beware of high salt content if you are not physically active and won't sweat out the extra salt. This product is a bad choice for sedentary folks or those with dietary sodium restrictions.
