Oral B Glide was my favorite dental floss until I learned it contains PFAS (harmful "forever chemicals").

I got these the last sale they had for this amount. They are really old stock. The package said 2017 on mine, the glide logo scrapes of easily, the floss container completely opens up when you pull the strip and the floss itself sometimes just breaks.

You should have done bowel prep before the colonoscopy

Perfect! I've had good floss on my shopping list for weeks, but I'm too cheap to buy these in store at full price.

I can confirm, just got mine today and it says 2017 but package had completely opened and was re-taped. Two containers were upside down. Checked individual containers and a couple had a slightly bigger roll than others but probably just how it is. Other than that they look unused so idk if its worth getting a replacement for the peace of mind since these are going in my mouth.

Mine was opened as well. But I think mine was due to the old glue holding the plastic on.

Same here. The price and the quality of the floss is amazing, but I am not risking anything for my health. I have been using Reach waxed floss for now, but it's not amazing.

Something I noticed when I first started using it over a decade ago, it's basically just Teflon tape. Smaller width, maybe folded over on itself and coated with a flavorant. Now, I'm not 100% sure if it really is Teflon tape, but seems likely. At least a close cousin to it at least.

Unfortunately, my teeth are tight and using regular waxed floss usually results in more effort and using more floss to get the floss that shredded off between my teeth. Hopefully rinsing my mouth out right after flossing helps negate most of the PFAS absorption.
