Most of the saturated fat in these bars originates from the chocolate. The Almond/Coconut's saturated fat is from the coconut that contain MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) which are easily digestible, quick energy fats so it passes through the digestive system quicker thus not stored as body fat.

Great price but wolf in sheep's clothing.
Advertises the first health ingredient, says nothing about the saturated fat.
Just checked two: Nuts& Sea Salt has 3g (15% of daily) and Almond/Coconut has a whopping 7g (35% of daily limit).
To compare, chicken breast, an animal protein has only 1.4g per serving of one cup (140g portion)

Still shocked how a health bar contains that much unsaturated fat. This is not steak guys... :-)

Watch the sales tax line. One flavor had sales tax 6 TIMES higher than another!! Amazon has something screwed up here.

Well, you made me look again, but the only flavor I eat is the dark chocolate cherry cashew. Since my heart surgery I try to stay under 10% saturated fat/10%cholesterol or at least under 20% when combining both numbers. These say 15% saturated fat and 0% cholesterol. So given the incredible awesome flavor, just ordered 4 boxes.Wink

More than likely they are treating (by accident) the higher sales tax item as "non-food" which in most states is much higher than "food."

For example in my state food is taxed at 2.00% where non-food is taxed 6.75% (4.75% + 2.00%).
