Non-GMO a feature? Guess you'd rather have crops that need more pesticides, use more water, and produce less food. Sounds super sustainable!

I'd rather have crops that don't have pesticides and insecticides built into my food and that aren't programmed to die after one season.
Please explain how any seed programmed to die after a single season is sustainable?

You weren't at all specific and that is exactly how GMOs work. It's just a broad category from minor alterations that aren't much to be concerned about and honestly a lot less effective than hybridization or splicing... To my example.

If you're only talking about resistant strains then those have actually increased pest and herbicide use not decreased it as you claim so basically no matter what your statement is completely wrong.

It goes all the way up to seeds designed to die after one season with proprietary alterations that make them produce and release chemical compounds that function as pest and insecticide with no long term study whatsoever on the impact. Please inform the largest companies on the planet that their products don't work at all how they say they do though I'm sure they'll love your opinions on how their products actually work since you disagree.

Sterile seeds are also one of the largest reasons foreign countries have refused disaster relief and farm aid from the US as it locks them into purchasing new seeds every season instead of just saving and using what they grew.
