Normally I would not counter a "promoted" complaint / concern but I posted it originally as I use their 3-in-1 ceramic detailer and love it. I've used others such as Adams, Kos Koche (sp?) from Rag Co and turtle and felt this was a decent price for a well rated interior leather cleaner.

With that said, you should always do your own research and whether or not this product meets your needs or those of your vehicle/leather.

Historically, it's a decent deal according to the camels. I love Griot's products so I'll give it a shot.

Product is good, I use it on the original leather in my 17 year old convertible specifically because it contains "sunscreen". Seems to do a good job of moisturizing and protecting. I think I paid 17 bucks at autozone so this is a decent deal.

Griot's is at least a reputable brand and you get good stuff. Too many brands seem like they just throw everything out to the world with wildly different results, especially a certain set of Guys who specialize in Chemicals…

I've tried about 10 leather products over the years (Lexol, Einszett, Meguiars, and on and on) and tbh, they're all pretty disappointing unless you start early and apply regularly. Don't believe the hype about "repair"…deep, dark splits and wrinkles are generally permanent. I'm a convert on most of the new OE leatherette interiors, they've come a long way.

Been using this stuff for years and it does a really good job of cleaning and protecting...plus it leaves a really nice new leather scent!

Anyone try this for getting cigarette smell out of leather seats? It's not super strong smell, but I can tell the previous owners of the car I got must have been smokers themselves

Is it though? Is this a good product at all below average price? That seems like all I need to know.

"Works great on all leathers". It's either formulated specifically for "garage leather" auto upholstery leather or it isn't.

Ask a reputable tanner and they will tell you to avoid commercial products which soak in to leather and displace the natural fats and oils used in the tanning process.

I remove dust and dirt with a soft dry brush then wipe down with a soft cloth dampened with a gentle ph balanced cleaner. Only occasionally do I apply a very light coat of natural oil / wax to resist drying out with an eye on not altering the top finish applied by the tannery for that purpose.

Less is better than more when it comes to cleaners and conditioners. Auto glass blocks harmful U.V. rays. Leather fades dries and cracks over time in response to chemical application or simply because it is of lesser quality.
