Unless you have it shipped free, the minimum IS $35
Delivery from store is $6.99 if under $35 with Walmart+ but shipping for any order is free.

When I signed up with their plus, I read the terms, and it was clearly stated that under $35, there still will be some shipping charges. That's why I don't shop much there. Amazon Prime doesn't care if we buy more or less, I have bought $2 item solo and it shipped/delivered free.

I picked up 10 at 1.48 per piece. They rang up 1.64, but the CS rep changed them to 1.48 once I asked and showed the picture of the price on the shelf.

They tried to do that to me as well. I used my Walmart App and entered the name of the product instead of going through slick deals and then I wasn't charged the shipping fee.
You could also try signing in when slick deals directs you to Walmart. That may work as well.

Only the smalls ones are at the Dollar Tree. And it is not always in stock, they go quick.

The larger ones go on sale after school starts.
In previous years I got some at $1 and other years $2.50. These are not as sturdy as milk crates. Really only light duty.

Might be but last time I went in Dollar Tree, a lot of items were more than a dollar. Inflation has been crazy last 3 or 4 years, for some reason.
