On paper, the Wrecker has a slightly higher "regular" price, and is described more for multi-purpose. Whereas the Ax is wood and wood w nails only. My use would be highly leaning towards outdoor trees/branches etc. Google is failing me on finding someone comparing Wrecker vs Ax. Can anyone provide real-world experience, on confirming that Ax would be the better purchase for me?

For tree branches and small stumps either option (5 TPI vs. 6 TPI) would be fine, and I doubt that you would notice any difference. However, for large stumps (my situation) I think 5 TPI AX blades are a better choice, because I'd expect them to be a little more aggressive/destructive.
However, with the 5 TPI option the additional blade (AX-with-carbide-teeth) is for wood and wood-with-nails only, but with the 6 TPI Wrecker option the extra blade is nitrus carbide, which Milwauke claims "will cut anything you find behind a wall". Their nitrus carbide blade is superior to any Milwauke alternative, and it is twice the price of the Ax-with-carbide-teeth blade. So in terms of value the 6 TPI option is probably the better choice because of the extra nitrus carbide blade which is general purpose. That said, although my only real world experience is with the regular 6 TPI blades for stump removal, I just ordered the 5 TPI blades you found.

Thanks for the info! Tiebreak for me (again for my use case) I think is that the non-carbide Wrecker blades are labeled with TPI as 7/11 (variable? with teeth not evenly spaced?), vs the Wrecker Nitrus Carbide labeled as 6 TPI. So those 10 non-carbide blades seem a good bit farther from the 5 TPI of the Ax. While all of the Ax blades show as 5 TPI.
Is this following set a good set for the various different TPI ? I want the nitrus carbide in there that's same in OP's set, but wanted more variation than just all 6TPI. But 6 of the blades are not torch/ax/wrecker , just regular, so not sure if this is a deal or not

I have used these (non-carbide) blades before, for removing tree stumps. The blades dull eventually of course, but they never bend or break.
I've never tried Milwaukee's nitrus carbide blades [protoolreviews.com], but here's an interesting Pro Tool article on them. Apparently they are far superior to regular carbide blades.

"Milwaukee Sawzall Reciprocating Saw Blades – a Quick Guide" [toolguyd.com] from ToolGuyd may help, but it is a bit out of date (12/15/21). Milwaukee themselves do a lousy job of documenting the differences between the reciprocating saw blades they sell.
