Found one, but was informed Target clearance prices are location specific based on stock available. They do not match clearance prices for other stores.
Had an interesting experience at the Target in Eagle Rock, a neighborhood of Los Angeles. I figured no way I'd get the deal because I never get these deals, but I saw the Eagle Rock Target showed 7 in stock around 10am today. Everywhere else said OOS. I didn't believe it but looked an hour later and it showed 5. I thought, oh wow, that could mean they actually have some and are selling at the clearance price. Being 15 min away, I figured worth a shot, so I jumped in my car and raced over there.

Two nice guys were waiting in the TV area. I asked if they were there for the C3. They said yeah and that the employee was getting them from the back! She rolled up with five on a cart and asked if I wanted one! I was shocked. The first guy bought two. The second guy bought one. I bought one, and a young guy showed up after me to get the last one. I almost bought two but when the younger guy showed up, figured I'd share the love.

Turns out, others had shown up earlier in the day but were turned away because the employees didn't think they had any. I happened to show up after they found them. Took them awhile to bring them up so must have been stored in some corner somewhere in their warehouse.

This is the first YMMV deal I've ever been fortunate enough to snag and my first ever 4K display so am very appreciative! Congrats to those who also found one and good luck to those still trying!
Enjoy your new OLED TV! I was the other guy waiting in line at Eagle Rock earlier today.

This is an amazing deal. Website shows my store as "no longer sold at this store" so I'm unsure if they ever had it, or sold out. Too bad, been looking at this to pair with a computer.

SoCal stores had it for $839, and as someone else said they do not price match clearance prices with other Targets. Major bummer

Is Brickseek worth making an account for? I've been against it for so long…but this is tempting.

I would bet money if you went there you and can get them to check for the price update on the scanner it would update to the 70% off. If the store has stock they are clearance priced at 70% off if they get the scanner synced with the updated clearance price.

If the store has stock it's worth trying IMHO. Dont let them sit there and just scan it over and over claiming this and that. Sometimes you gotta steer them. They have to get the scanner to update to the new clearance price.

Once they scan, the system shows clearance prices.

Brickseek says it's out of stock, but Target website says there's one in stock. Which one should I trust?

If it's a display model, would it still possibly be sold at the clearance price (if it's for sale at all)?
