That Amazon pressure washer is not the best selling, just Amazon pushing it for sales. There are other much better selling and better quality washers. The numbers on the link you sent are most likely inflated with that PSI on a small electric washer.

This one is compact and has the surface cleaner. It isn't nearly as powerful as your gas washer but is much easier to use and store. I keep one of these to use for quick jobs that don't need as much power.

Is the upright version on Amazon

Comparable in terms of cleaning power?
(I have no use for the floor attachment)

Bought over the weekend and used on siding, deck, and truck. Also did some sidewalk. I'm happy with it. Good value IMO.

We only use it for car wash and don't use it that often. Maybe less than 10 times a year. This works great for about 3 yrs and parts started to fail. First, the handle/gun just busted open and leaked all the water out. Then the hose snapped from all the kinking and shot water out. The two replacement parts are already $40+.

I have had this model for 3 years now and can't say i've had any issues like the others mentioned above. I use it yearly to clean out the driveway, garage, and algae on siding.

Thoughts on this one vs this Ryobi 1800 1.2 (Model # RY141802) from Home Depot for $99?

This page here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsel...awn-garden has it listed as #1 in "Best Sellers in Pressure Washers" -- with the additional qualifier (at the top of the page): "Amazon Best Sellers-- Our most popular products based on sales. Updated frequently."

When you say "it's not the best selling, just Amazon pushing it for sales", what do you know that we don't?

Great question. This product has fairly limited reviews even though they seem to be positive. Amazon sellers tend to push coupons to show a lower price, which influences Amazon's algorithm to suggest the product. A more recent common tactic being used by sellers is to send a letter offering a gift card for five star reviews on newer products. This again influences Amazon's algorithm to consider it a top pick. If you look at electric pressure washers overall on Amazon you will see many others with thousands to tens of thousands more reviews that are more reputable than the one listed. It's not necessarily saying that the one mentioned is bad but there are some sneaky ways to get listed as a top pick when you see the back end of Amazon. Quick sales at a low price with influenced reviews are a great way to get your product pushed to the top of Amazon. I hope this helps explain.

I'm tempted to go for the Ryobi just for the brand name. Technically not sure which is better

I actually just bought the Ryobi and have it sitting in my garage, but this one comes with the surface cleaner which I'm thinking may make cleaning easier? Plus, it looks like this one comes with additional nozzle tips, but given this is my first pressure washer, I don't know if the additional tips are even needed?

I own one and the hose is garbage. I'm looking for a flexible aftermarket .
Uberflex if you wanna buy online or the Hart 35ft Black Hose at Walmart. Before you buy, check if it has the Propulse Patent on it.

This is great for the same basic stuff it says (cars, patios/driveways, windows/siding, etc). The biggest problem is you have to be able to plug it in so it has limited reach. If that isn't a problem I'd think worst case you rent/borrow a gas powered one to get things cleaned up faster and then use this for maintenance. If you only want to do it once, or only when it gets bad just rent/borrow one.
ergonomically, is the spray nozzle the same length as the stand up model that has wheels that was previously on sale? I'm trying to figure out if the larger model with the wheels is easier to move around the backyard vs this smaller unit.

New to pressure washers, are these safe for cars? I've read some of them can damage the paint and clear coat, etc when used on a car. Would like to use this instead of going to those coin operated self car wash places

Hose and gun are trash. Please spend extra $100 on upgrade. Great video here https://youtu.be/6zsogMVndAs?si=k53g0ukhQHiDRJSn
