I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Can someone guide? Let's say I do tradein of pixel 8 for one s24 so trade in comes more than 1000 while I will pay 800+ tax for first s24....so I will get credit of say 160....now I do tradein of moto g for other s24...say I get 705 so can additional 94+tax be settled against 160 credit of 1st tradein....in short I get 2 s24 by just trading one good phone and one useless phone...I m planning this after preorder period....in store...xan someone share experience.....pre order should be like samsung....spectrum makes u pay full amt and then get full credit why not simply pay net and pay additional if teadein is problem...

The modem on the pixel8 pro is dogshit.

Also was enticing to get 512GB storage and a qualcom
I got the Pixel 8 Pro for 400 when I first signed up for Spectrum a few months back. I hate the size, so debated buying a cheap phone and selling the 8 Pro on my own but decided to just let Spectrum handle it all like you. I am mostly trading mine in for a smaller phone (the regular S23) cause I hate the larger screen for finger navigation. The 5G is terrible on the phone to the point sometime pages won't load. I always thought it was because Spectrum was an MVMO, but your comment makes me think maybe the modem on the 8Pro just sucks and we may have better network performance on the S24?

I have an iPhone xs with discoloration on the display and a green line, but it works fine, any idea if it can be traded in for a decent price, just trying to replace it with anything, with least out of pocket cost as it's a spare phone.

As long as it turns on and the screen works, they don't care. They only care if screen is cracked or not working.

Man, someone tell me I won't be screwing myself doing this. I have a galaxy s22 in Verizon they are offering like 850 trade in for a s24+. If in port my phone number over am I screwing myself out of my current Verizon plan? Would I just get the cheapest spectrum plan for 2 months until it's unlocked then switch back over to my Verizon?

This sounds like the screen is defective/damaged and they might reject it. I would recommend trading in a different phone or doing the trade in at the store

Question

I plan on doing the in-store trade-in when the S24u release and Im fine without the free storage upgrade on preorder.

now I wonder if spectrum will offer a 256GB for $1299 or they will only have 512GB for $1419 just like right now on their website.

THANKS!

Killer deal but it won't let me finish the process. I have tried to buy this phone 10 times and it always shows an error when I confirm my identity!

how much do the phones cost?
Right now it's $1,299 before the extra $700 off and whatever your trade in is. Plus they are giving you the 512gb version as a free upgrade. If you have spectrum it's a great deal.

Thanks OP and others who contributed to the thread. I pulled the trigger on S24+ trading in an old Samsung Galaxy phone lying around for a few years. I was originally planning to order with the "New Number" option, but decided to play safe by porting in a number bought from NumberBarn since the T&C clearly states porting in is required. I currently use an S22 256GB, and figured I could just sell it on Swappa. As others said, it makes sense to trade in a phone with a lower value for this deal.

It looks like some of the trade in values have changed.
S23 from $927 to $935
S23FE from $880 to $900
