Is this not the 'normal' price?
That said, when these do go on sale, interested.
Anyone using one yet that can provide any feedback on their experience so far?

Thanks. Bought a AXE5400/XE75 6e model myself, but have yet to set it up, so...before I do...and deals on 7 models are happening...

I have nothing in my household that can utilize WiFi 7, but...like to future proof if possible (get a few more yrs outa it before having to replace).

That said, it better work at least good (if not better) than WiFi 6e, today...

Probably cheaper to just wait until you have some Wifi 7 gear to actually make use of it. Finding devices that can use the 6GHz band is still fairly rare, and that's mostly only useful if you live in an area with highly congested 2.4 and 5GHz bands.

I just set up an XE75 to replace an old Netgear router because updates for Netgear routers seems to have ground to an absolute halt lately. So far, so good. I like that TP-Link has put out multiple updates for the firmware this year, which include security updates in the release notes. As an added bonus, it seems to have fixed the issue I was having getting my Plex server to be accessible outside my LAN. No idea why, but my old Netgear router refused to cooperate while the TP-Link just works.

Good point. And by the time I have the gear, Wifi 7 routers will be more 'mature' (better), and most likely, less expensive.
